Manners make such a difference and something I wish I was better at. Manners is all about thinking of others, being kind, thoughtful, caring and putting others before yourself. As a family we seem to go through times when we have a ‘manners blitz’. Look out kids in my family, this weekend is one!!
“Teaching your son (kids) manners is a powerful outward expression that acknowledges human dignity in everyone. Studies have shown that little children who are taught good manners do not get involved in crime.. Creating a civil family, or society begins with words like ‘please’ and ‘thankyou’.” (Growing Great Boys by Ian Grant, p 100).
May you have a weekend where there is much ‘acknowledging the human dignity in everyone.’
