I love being with kids and seeing what makes them tick… or not! What makes one kid bounce and others drag their feet?

I feel very privileged to be a Mum of 4 children and to have worked as a teacher in different classrooms and situations over the last 20 years.
I know first hand that teachers and parents are incredibly busy people with many different demands. At this blog I hope I can share some of what positive psychology has to offer our kids, both at home and in the classroom, as well as how it can help us as adults of all ages to live a ‘flourishing’ life.

“The combination of your knowledge, research and  real stories in digestible chunks hits the mark.”  Michelle Hank.

  1. Wow Congratulations into the big time now–Gold Star Ben. Makes it easier.. We will continue “to hunt the good stuff”

  2. There are “treasures” all around us, but our eyes have to be opened to see them.
Sometimes too , we have to “dig” to find the treasure that is hidden…
Do we “desire” to find treasures ?

  3. Thanks Rebekah, have enjoyed wandering through your sunshiny day. Looking forward to spending more time in the warmth. Very good timing as I approach returning to the world of teaching in the school sense, and have found some gems here that have reminded me why it’s a great profession…like the one on “play”…speaking as an early childhood educator. But it reminded me of how important the freedom of play is to us all. All the best, was good to chat at Victor. Joy

    • Thanks so much for looking and following! It was so lovely to catch up and I will be praying for you in the coming months. Just today another friend reminded me of the importance of play. I love the reminders. Bring on the play! Love R xx
